With the arts becoming underappreciated (and underfunded) in many places, I was inspired to make posters for a free, accessible community event that fosters creativity and learning.
I designed the posters in a way that would appeal to poets of all ages and convey a casual, relaxed feeling that might be inviting to less experienced writers. The promotional imagery features renowned poets of different American eras to highlight the fact that that words really do change the world.
